Transfer an out-of-state gun to a North Carolina resident via Tactical Sourcing:

To receive a firearm from an out-of-state person or dealer, current laws require that you must go through the ATF Federal Transfer process, utilizing a Federal Firearm Licensed (FFL) Dealer.  We are currently a registered FFL Dealer in the USA. We will help with your firearm transfer process.

You will need to have your purchase shipped to us.  To accomplish this transfer, we will need your contact information and the name of the seller, including the seller’s email and the type of gun that you are purchasing. This information can be entered directly on our web site at the following link:

We will send a copy of our FFL license to the seller and they will then transfer the firearm to us. Please ask the seller to include a copy of their FFL, C&R or a copy of their state driver's license for our records.

We will notify you when the gun arrives, and you can then pick up the firearm.  We will do the required background check for you with the FBI National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS).   Following NICS approval we then transfer the firearm to you.  The transfer fee is $25.00, and you may pay when you the firearm up at our shop.

Private Party Transfers:

Tactical Sourcing will accommodate you for all of your private party transfers. The fee for handling the paperwork for a private party transfer is $25.00. Both parties to the transfer must be present in the store. Handguns will require a handgun permit or a North Carolina Concealed Handgun Permit for us to complete the transfer. Long Guns will be called in for an Instant Background Check.
